While the words, "make love, not war" is often thought synonymous with the "sixties generation," and the anti-war movement, it reflected the sentiments of only one side of the story. The "establishment" adhered to the "Domino Theory" that if communism wasn't stopped in Vietnam it would eventually spread U. S. borders.
